Delegations from 18 countries and exhibitors from around 60 nations will gather in Berlin for the transport technology exhibition.

InnoTrans 2026 is set to become the most internationally attended edition of the transport technology exhibition to date, bringing together exhibitors, industry leaders and government delegations from around the world for its 30th anniversary.
Taking place in Berlin, the event will host delegations from 18 countries and exhibitors representing around 60 nations, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s leading meeting places for the rail and mobility industries.
Organisers say the record international participation reflects the growing importance of global collaboration in developing the next generation of transport technologies.
Kerstin Schulz, Director of InnoTrans, said: “InnoTrans has always been a trade fair with global appeal. However, we have never been as international as we are this year.”
She added: “We are expecting delegations from 18 countries and have exhibitors from around 60 nations at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. This demonstrates once again how important direct exchange is for driving innovation forward.”
Global participation continues to grow
One of the key milestones for this year’s event is the launch of the first EU-Africa Transport Dialogue, which will bring together European and African transport stakeholders to strengthen international cooperation.
The United States will also have one of its strongest ever representations, with around 50 exhibitors attending, including Progress Rail, Wabtec and Amsted Rail. For the first time, the California High-Speed Rail Authority will exhibit with its own stand after years of attending as a visitor.
International delegations will also include representatives from organisations such as the Federal Railroad Administration, DB E.C.O. North America and the Commuter Rail Association.
Asia-Pacific participation continues to expand, with major companies from China, including CRRC, CAMET and CARS, alongside national pavilions and industry associations from Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Australia.
The event will also showcase InnoTrans Asia for the first time with its own exhibition stand ahead of its inaugural edition in Singapore in September 2027.
European participation remains strong, with major exhibitors including Alstom, CAF, Talgo, voestalpine and Plasser & Theurer, alongside national industry associations from across the continent.
The international focus will continue before the exhibition opens with the International Press Circle, bringing together media representatives and railway organisations from more than a dozen countries to discuss industry developments before the official start of InnoTrans 2026.
