There is potential for the GB and international rail industry to harness AI powered solutions to improve the planning, safety and efficiency of services. This webinar will explore how AI is being integrated into Rail, the challenges and opportunities presented, and how the RSSB is supporting industry.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly impacting how we work, live and engage with others and is already delivering wide societal benefits in areas including transport, healthcare and climate change.

There is potential for the GB rail industry to harness AI powered solutions to improve the planning, safety and efficiency of services. Improved industry understanding of the potential rail applications of AI and its associated benefits and pitfalls can accelerate and de-risk its introduction.

This webinar will explore:

  • How AI is being integrated into Rail
  • The challenges and opportunities AI Powered Solutions can bring.
  • How the work of RSSB will help support industry, namely:
    • How to use Human Factors Principles to enhance the usability and effectiveness of AI systems
    • How the RSSB AI assurance toolkit can help to optimise the design and implementation of AI in Rail
    • How the rail industry can harness the power of AI.
