Brammer, the UK’s leading supplier of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services, has further extended its growing rail sector customer list through a major contract win with First Great Western.
The contract, which will run for an initial two-year period, follows a highly rigorous process, and will see Brammer supply a full range of tools and workshop consumables to First Great Western’s seven maintenance depots in London, Reading, Swansea, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth and Penzance.
First Great Western operates passenger trains across the South and West of the country and is a subsidiary of FirstGroup, the largest transport operator in the world with revenues exceeding £6 billion.
Brammer has extensive experience of working with leading rail sector manufacturers and rolling stock maintenance specialists. This major contract clearly demonstrates Brammer’s innovative approach, professionalism and ability to tailor its offering for the specific needs of a major train operator.
