Overview

Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) is a planned transportation hub between Warsaw and Lodz that will integrate air, rail, and road transport. The project will involve the construction of an airport 37 km west of Warsaw that will cover an area of 3,000 ha and handle 40 million passengers annually in its first stage.

Additionally, the CPK will include railway investments, such as a railway nod in the airport’s close vicinity and railway connections within Poland that will enable a transfer between Warsaw and other Polish cities in less than 2.5 hours. The project is expected to create employment opportunities for over 150,000 people, and an Airport City will be created within CPK’s proximity that will include fair, congress and conference centres, R&D facilities, and offices.
