Light-rail vehicles and locos based on modular platforms that are customised to meet specific and certain customer needs are on display at InnoTrans 2014 courtesy of the companies from the Vossloh group…
There’s a UKLight Class 68 diesel loco, plus a full-scale mock-up of a EuroDual electro-diesel loco.
Covering the light-rail sector, on display is a 100% low-floor tram for the city of Rostock; a 70% low-floor Citylink NET 2012 tram-train car for Karlsruhe, and a Stadtbahn B articulated light-rail vehicles from Bonn which has been modernised by Vossloh Kiepe to lower its energy consumption.
