HS2's Logistics hub in Willesden will enable the removal of one million lorries from the roads in the London area alone, significantly reducing the project’s environmental impact.
Worn-out wind turbine blades destined for the incinerator will instead be used to create carbon-friendly reinforced concrete on Britain’s new high-speed rail network.
With 30 new apprentices set to join the business in September 2021, HS2 is making progress in delivering on its promise to create 2,000 apprenticeships over the project’s lifetime.
