ILCAD 2019

ILCAD (International Level Crossing Awareness Day) is a joint commitment from partners in 40 countries raising public awareness on the dangers at and around level crossings.

In 2019 we will celebrate the 11th edition of ILCAD with a launch conference hosted by ProRail, the Dutch railway infrastructure manager, on 6 June 2019 in the Netherlands, exact location to be confirmed.

The public to target in 2019: we wish to raise awareness about level crossing safety amongst transport professional divers (bus, coach, truck, industrial and farming vehicles).

The motto of the year: The most important stop of the day!

We hope to attract 150-180 attendees to the conference program that will include presenters from different sectors (road, rail, professional transport organisations or federations, NIBs, NSAs, human factors’ specialists, academics…)
