Gummi-Welz Poland – a subsidiary of the HÜBNER Group – has successfully been certified for its adhesive bonding processes of rail vehicle components.

The HÜBNER Group continues to expand its expertise as a supplier for the rail industry with the recent certification of its subsidiary, Gummi-Welz Poland Sp. z o.o. (GWP), in accordance with DIN 6701 for adhesive bonding of rail vehicle components.

The company’s site in Poland is now the sixth HÜBNER location possessing the DIN certification, as the system supplier for the mobility sector continues to develop its production capabilities, especially for outstanding gluing processes.

Christoph Heuser, Head of the Rail & Bus Business Unit, said: “The certification is a further important qualification step in meeting our high standards as a comprehensive system supplier for the rail industry.”

The certification confirms that GWP fulfils the high requirements for bonding processes for rail vehicles. At the same time, the certification also ensure product quality for applications in other sectors. In addition to producing GRP components for rail vehicles at the location in Poland, components for buses as well as construction machinery are also manufactured at the site.
