Bombardier has announced that it has received a landmark ERTMS contract for the first implementation of ERTMS Level 2 technology in Poland.

The European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) is a traffic management system that provides a unified signalling and train control system throughout Europe. A key component of ERTMS is the on-board rolling stock signalling equipment known as the European Train Control System (ETCS).
