The 28th International Exhibition for Track Technology (iaf), the world’s leading trade fair for track technology, will take place in Münster, Germany, from 31 May to 2 June 2022. More than 100 international exhibitors will present new and innovative products and services. The iaf has enjoyed an excellent reputation among rail industry professionals and exhibitors for decades. Originally planned for 2021, but moved due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it is now ready to fulfil its role as the technological driving force for the track construction industry. With 10,000 m2 of hall space, 6,000 m2 of open space and more than 3,000 m of track, the fair offers a representative overview of the industry unlike anywhere else.

As always, the exhibitors are planning to introduce new innovations and developments in Münster. Siegfried Krause, head of organisation is looking forward to an exciting 28th edition of the iaf: “We are very pleased that so many exhibitors remain loyal to our exhibition and use it once again to offer their solutions to the most pressing challenges facing our industry. These include issues such as shortage of qualified personnel, the need to reduce CO2 in the face of climate change and, of course, digitalisation.”

As a special highlight this year, the organisers welcome Poland as a guest country. In doing so, the association acknowledges the positive development of the Polish railway infrastructure in recent years and the further modernisation steps planned for the coming years.
