Posted: 4 September 2018 | | No comments yet

Under this topic at InnoTrans 2018, Vossloh will be presenting its vision of an intelligent railway track and is inviting experts to Hall 26, Stand 310 for intensive exchanges.

Across five themed ‘worlds’, visitors will discover numerous innovations that use smart technologies to open up new dimensions for the most pressing issues, such as track availability, noise and carbon emission control and life-cycle costs.

Availability means long life

Highlights of Vossloh’s novel materials and designs include the environmentally friendly and dimensionally-stable sleeper as well as the extremely hard steel grade CogX for various crossing applications. In the field of rail fastening systems, Vossloh has developed a new tension clamp for its system 300, which is especially designed for high-frequency, high-speed traffic applications. Thanks to an entirely new design, the Skl 15 HF clamp has a higher natural frequency, which results in a reduced resonance vibration. The newly-developed premium coating meets the highest requirements and increases the longevity of the steel components. For the rehabilitation of existing tracks, Vossloh will be presenting its vibration-reducing rail fastening system DFF 336 Crossover.
