HS1 Ltd awarded We Invest in Wellbeing gold accreditation

HS1 Ltd has been awarded a We Invest in Wellbeing gold accreditation from Investors in People. The award comes in recognition of HS1’s dedication to ensuring improved health and wellbeing in the workplace.

The gold accreditation, achieved by only a third of organisations, is also noteworthy for having been awarded during the pandemic. The assessment framework for the accreditation evaluates and benchmarks physical, social and psychological wellbeing and gathers insights into what an organisation is doing well and where it needs improvement.

HS1 Ltd sees the gold accreditation as a reflection of the impact of its People Strategy, which is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of its employees.

According to Investors in People, one in four employees in the UK have a physical health condition and 44 per cent of all work-related ill health is due to stress, depression and anxiety. A gold accreditation means that a business has got the right policies and practises in place to provide support and that all employees, from Senior Leaders to apprentices are responsible for following and implementing them.
